Vasant Kunj Welfare Society (VWS) in association with Ekal Sri Hari Vanvasi Foundation, organised a vibrant evening brimming with the colours of patriotism and Indian culture on 20.01.24.
The jam-packed auditorium of Indian Spinal Injuries Center reverberated with a plethora of melodious, passionate and emotion-filled bhajans and patriotic songs presented by the Surtaal Team- a group of young men and women from remote villages across the country.
Through their presentations, the Surtal team kept the audience mesmerised for more than two hours. Such was the josh that the spectators left their seats and started dancing to the foot tapping patriotic numbers. A key attraction was the presentation of Hanuman Chalisa at the end of this enthralling programme. The anchoring by Amita Mehra and Mrs.Tuhina added charm to the beautiful evening. Their choice of words and expression did justice to every presentation and kept the entire audience engaged till the very end.
Kudos and many thanks to the VWS team lead by Chairperson Mrs. Shailu Verma, Secretary Mr. Satish Dogra and National Working President of Ekal Gram Sansthan Mr. Santosh Gangwal, for their tireless efforts in making this event so successful. We are also grateful to ISIC for their unconditional support in this socially useful cause.
Overall, this program was very entertaining and meaningful. The residents of Vasant Kunj look forward to many more such events in future.
