Dear Residents, Since the setting up of composting drums in the A Block, it has come to notice that a lot of residents are mixing cooked (extra/waste)food with the kitchen green waste. The facility cannot process it which results in bad odour and semi-decomposition, taking undue time to separate it. It is requested that either such food be given to the collectors in the edible state, which they will accept happily, or packed and handed over separately so that it is appropriately disposed of. This is indeed a valid request. The RWA also comprises of people like us who go the extra mile to make life comfortable for all. It is not their duty; it’s their effort to do something for society collectively. Residents need to comply with certain rules and regulations to make the system work.
