In view of the cluster of wires created by various service providers in the Sector giving a very shabby look and loading the already aged poles, a meeting was held with the representatives of Reliance Jio, Airtel, Hathway, Perfect Internet and Om Entertainer. Representatives of UPPCL were also present in the meeting.
All service providers agreed that they will remove all the dead unused wires by Nov ‘23, collect the removed wires for disposal and tag their live cables with different color shades which has been allotted to them. They will also properly dress / tie up the cables going to users’ houses.
There after RWCS will be free to cut the left-over untagged cables. Though utmost caution is being taken with proper planning but in case of any live cable cut, these people will be present during this exercise to immediately attend to any problem.
The exercise will be carried out in a phased manner block wise with advance intimation to the residents. UPPCL is going to help RWCS in this exercise. Let us hope this initiative by RWCS to make our Sector look better is successful.
Support of all residents is required in this initiative.
