Photography is his hobby as well as passion. He started doing photography at the age of five, when his dad got him his first camera. His dad, Prof Ravindra Bhan, was also a good photographer who taught him this art over the years. Bhan’s father always said that photography is all about your perspective and the light.
“My dad could print his own photographs from negatives on his own. He was so skilled! I don’t belong to that era and use a Digital Nikon D 3000 with a memory card, and I can click more than 5000 photos without changing the memory card,” said Bhan.
Bhan was sponsored by India International Centre to showcase his photography at the Annexe which was inaugurated by the Director of IIC KN. Shrivastava.
His theme was ‘Life on an island, a photographic journey of Mauritius’. Bhan said, “Though I had visited Mauritius in 2016 and 2017, I finally got the chance to showcase those beaches, sunsets, nearby islands and the green and blue belt of the island through my lens.”
The exhibition will be held again in September at the Sheraton, Saket.
