AIKGA Updates
AIKGA Unit 42 Held Udyan Mela on 19th October 2024 at The Gymkhana Club, Sector 29, Gurgaon.
A lamp was lit to inaugurate, followed by Ganesh Vandana.
Members, Convenors and gardening enthusiasts thronged the Mela throughout the day. Members from other Units were seen interacting and catching up with friends. Various stalls for food, plants, decoration items etc were put up and a live demonstration on Ikebana by Indira ji was everyone’s favourite.
Anita ji, Sujata ji and Reena ji the three pillars of Unit 42 thanked Kanta Madan ji, Shireen ji, Poornima ji, Renu Sood ji, Hema ji, Indira ji, Anuradha ji and all other members , family and friends who took out time to come and grace the occasion.
Although this was a first event on such a large scale by the Unit, with the support of volunteers and some experienced seniors the event turned into a huge success.
The active volunteers of Unit 42 were, Sadhna, Soniya, Arti, Alka, Anita, Anjani, Charu, Jasbir, Ruchika, Neha, and Dr. Susan.
