March 2nd & 3rd 2024 saw gardening enthusiasts thronging Gulmohar Park club lawns. All the units from Delhi NCR took part in this annual flower, fruit and vegetable show.
Unit 42 participated under various categories in the annual mela. Since the unit is new, they did not participate in the theme stall but did win prizes under individual categories. The prize winners are Sujata Jain (7 prizes), Anita Wagh, Anita Tahlan, Jasbir Kaur, and Reena Gupta.
On 22 March, the unit met to felicitate the winners. A talk was held by senior member Pemila Puri on growing saplings from seeds. Convenor Anita Wagh gave a demonstration on vegetable carving. She has won many prizes for her skill at carving and presented the skill on National Television too.
April is when the membership is renewed, and the unit fee is paid by everyone. All units are sending reminders for the same.
