The annual General Body Meeting of collegium of senior citizen’s welfare Association Sec 26 Noida was held on 30 Dec.
The General Body observed two minutes’ silence, to mourn, the sad demise of collegium members and their family members during the 2022- 2023 year. The Patron Padam Shri Dr PK Dave was the Chief Guest and Club-26 President RK Khosla was a special invitee.
The General Secretary Sudhir Puri read out minutes of the meeting of the last Annual General Body meeting held on 19 Dec 2021 and were confirmed. The Accounts for years 2021-22 & 2022-2023 were presented and unanimously approved and adopted.
Dr PK Dave addressed the members and advised them that they should take care of their health and suggested regular exercise and daily walk. He also informed about his qualification and his expertise in Orthopedic surgery and offered free consultation and advice to the members of the association. Dr Dave also praised the activities being carried out by the Collegium of Sr. Citizens sector 26 Noida.
Kalish Chander, the election officer apprised the General Body that the requisite procedure was been followed in holding the election of the new Executive committee. Fifteen Nomination forms were issued but only fourteen valid nominations were received and accepted, against fourteen vacancies by the stipulated date and time. Since the nominations were within the requirement of the committee, all the following fourteen members were elected unopposed:
HC Malhotra (President), Sudhir Puri (Vice President), PL Kapoor (Vice President), Balbir Singh Sandhu (Gen. Secretary), Shyam Sunder Sharma (Jt Secretary), VK Grover (Treasurer), Col. KK Puri (Adviser), RK Bajaj (Adviser), Raj Ghildiyal (Auditor), Nand Lal Arora, Dr. Shubh Lata Bharadwaj, RC Gupta, Govind Mishra, Satyendra Prakash Arora Executive Membres.
The New President Mr. H. C Malhotra has given task to all Executive members to identify the senior citizens who are living alone in the sector and submit the list to him. The President advised to enroll all the senior citizens of the sector as a member of our Welfare Association.
