The curtains came down on 2023, but the journey of life moves on… with new horizons in view …
Gulmohar Centre also celebrated the arrival of New Year with gusto. The arrangements for this function started couple of days before. Many enthusiastic people bought the Coupons from the Centre Office long time back. Members with their near and dear ones started celebrating from afternoon by enjoying Sunday Afternoon Lunch under the sun’s beam.
In the evening people started pouring in the Centre from 8 pm onwards as per the time mentioned in the Coupon. By 9:30 pm, the function was in full swing. Front lawn, courtyard area and the dining hall area were beautifully decorated with colour lights. To beat the chilly weather outside, all the arrangements were done on the 1st Floor dining hall. Members were delighted to see tables reserved with their name’s plate on it which gave them a special feeling. All the screens on the 1st Floor dining hall showed beautiful Music Videos. One could see members eating and drinking with family and friends cozily. Dance lovers were grooving indoors on foot tapping numbers with friends in the hall behind dining area. Steaming hot veg and non-veg delicacies were being served around. In between laughter and tet-e-tete, people were also enjoying their drinks. Buffet with range of eateries was laid to satisfy tingling taste buds.
Gulmohar Centre staff were cordial enough with members to accommodate last minute entries too. It is very convenient for people staying in Gulmohar Park to celebrate New Year Eve in the Gulmohar Centre by avoiding large distances and heavy traffic.
As we were nearing 12 ‘O’ clock, it seemed as if everyone wanted to give their best and wanted to enjoy most, forgetting other worries of life. At the stroke of midnight, everyone greeted each other and wished New Year and then slowly moved towards home.
Wish You All a Very Happy, Vibrant and Prosperous New Year.
