Living in harmony within a community often requires a delicate balance between convenience and consideration for others. Unfortunately, for the residents of C Block, this balance has been severely disrupted by the overwhelming influx of traffic and parking issues stemming from the vicinity of I Care Hospital and NS Public School.
There are approximately 200 houses within C Block, the daily struggles faced by its residents cannot be overlooked. The situation is aggravated by the fact that there are only two entrances accessible from within the block. One of these entrances, situated in front of I Care Hospital and NS Public School, has become synonymous with chaos and congestion.
The sheer volume of traffic, compounded by visitors to the hospital and school, results in irritating long wait for residents trying to enter or exit their own block. Moreover, the indiscriminate parking habits of hospital visitors spill over into C Block, adding to the woes of an already dire situation.
It is evident that swift and decisive action is necessary to alleviate the plight of C Block residents. One proposed solution involves closing the entrance in front of I Care Hospital and redirecting traffic through the secondary gate, which currently remains locked due to security concerns. By deploying a dedicated security guard at this entrance, the flow of traffic can be regulated effectively, easing congestion and streamlining access for residents.
Furthermore, the vacant plot of land adjacent to I Care Hospital presents a golden opportunity to address the pressing issue of inadequate parking space. Converting this plot into a designated parking area would not only alleviate congestion within C Block but also serve as a practical solution to the parking woes experienced by hospital visitors.
Another way is to make the sector roads ONE WAY. This will solve major traffic issues. From Gate 14, to Shiv Mandir to I Care to Apollo to Kalibari and back to Gate 14, this should be the way. So someone who needs to visit Kali Bari or Club should take the complete round. This way has been very effective in narrow lanes of Bangalore.
In light of these pressing concerns, it is important that the RW&CS takes corrective measures to address the challenges faced by C Block residents. A formal letter to the Noida Authority, advocating for the closure of the problematic entrance and the conversion of the vacant plot into a parking space, is a crucial step towards restoring peace to our block. Also, all residents should write a letter to Noida Aurhority to prohibit I Care, Apollo and every other institution from expanding further in already stretched sector
Time for action is now. By implementing the proposed measures, we can reclaim our block from the grips of chaos and ensure a better quality of life for all residents. Let us stand together and demand the changes necessary to make C Block a place we are proud to call home.
