An accident took place at the T-point of P6 and P7 on 17th October 24. This involved a 12-year-old young boy who was coming back from his tuition on his bicycle around 6:30 pm and was hit by a speeding black car. This point is a blind turn, making it accident-prone. There are many such points in DLF 2, where there is an urgent need to install concave mirrors for everyone’s safety. Also, unfortunately, there are no CCTV cameras to keep track of all vehicles in and out of DLF 2 and filter all the entrances for all trespassers, including E-rickshaws, autos, commercial vehicles, and private vehicles, for the safety and security of the residents. DLF 2 also lacks adequate street lighting, which is extremely essential.
