B-9 RWA took a firm step forward towards implementation of Waste segregation by all residents. As part of the facilitation efforts a very successful interactive session was hosted by Dr Ruby Makhija (MCD Brand Ambassador) and Snehlata Rathi, President D-6 Santhusti on waste segregation for domestic helps on 17 June at 5 pm. About 90-100 enthusiastic maids attended and actively participated in the session. All participants were given sanitary napkins (courtesy Snehlata Rathi) and refreshments.
RWA hopes there will be a positive outcome of the meeting in the form of 100 % wet and dry segregated waste being given by residents to garbage pickup staff (Vatavaran). Vatavaran secretary Gandharv, Sandhya Choudhary and Anuradha Sharma are spearheading this ambitious venture from RWA side.
