Very recently a social group- Aawaz Volunteers Social Group for DLF 2 has been formed by senior residents of DLF 2, whose prime objective is the improvement of Civic Amenities issues of the colony. The group is Patronized by Shri Vipin Yadav, a resident and Social worker, who has been serving the block for the last few years selflessly for the welfare of residents. The primary focus of the group is the Cleanliness of Roads, Storm water drains, Vacant plots, Trees Pruning, Parks Upgradation, Restoration of footpaths., attending to issues of Water Scarcity, Electricity Upgradation, Security and traffic congestion and other miscellaneous problems faced by residents of the colony.
The volunteers of the group have stepped forth to help society based on their personal/professional experience of Life. The idea behind the formation of this group is to raise a voice at different forums, in front of various authorities. Like MCG officials, DLF Management, CM office, Govt. dept. etc, hence the name is AAWAZ
The group intends to work purely voluntarily with the intention to give back something to society. They will work as a Team of Volunteers from all blocks of DLF Phase -2 without holding any position/status in the Group. All members will be Voluntary Team members.
We are all already aware of the ongoing efforts put in by, DLF Phase-2 RWA Team, Vipin Ji Team as Social Worker, QERWA, to improve the living conditions in DLF Phase -2, but due to exceptional growth in DLF Phase-2 (Commercial /Residential Activities), living conditions are detracting since the last 2-3 Years.
