Anything organised by our Armed forces officials is bound to be unique and classy. The illustrious group of Army, Air Force and Navy( AAN) of Safdarjung Enclave is an energetic, lively group consisting of war heros and decorated Armed forces personnel.
Every year AAN Celebrates Diwali in their own unique way at the Air Force station Race course road. This year too a small get together was organised by them.
All members reached on time and Major General Dua started the evening by greeting every everyone and called upon a member to speak on the ongoing Israel – Gaza confrontation. It was a very enlightening talk regarding the ongoing conflict which has shocked the entire world. All members were in favour of resuming peace in the region and were of the opinion that war should be stopped at the earliest.
All ladies were invited to light the lamp. Mrs Bawa (wife of Air Marshall Bawa) was invited to light the lamp first followed by all the lovely ladies dressed smartly in colourful attire. Cdr Gupta clicked candid pics of the charming ladies and the ladies obliged him by posting happily For the pics.
A round of Shero shaayri by Air Marshall Bawa any Major General Dua enthralled the members. The Ante Room was filled with laughter and giggles. Delicious snacks and drinks were served followed by scrumptious continental and Indian dinner which was savoured and appreciated by all.
Return gift of beautiful dry fruit treys were given to everyone as a token of love. A very happy and joyous evening ended with the wish of having the next get together soon and the general feeling was” ye dil mange more’.
