On 06 March ´24 a group of 14 residents from Ram Vihar planned a visit to Akshardham. Many had not seen this temple in spite of residing so close by. Others had visited plenty of times but just wanted an outing with their friends. A bus was arranged which took the group in the afternoon and got them back by 9.00 pm. The main attractions were a complete tour of the majestic complex, the stone carved statues, boat ride, a film on Swaminarainji , musical fountain show and dining at the Prem Vati Food Court. A guide was tied up who escorted the group and told the history of the complete temple. The weather was at its best and it was a fun filled and enjoyable experience.
