I have been staying in this beautiful township for over two decades now.The Balcony of my second-floor flat in White wood has been a window to the stunning biodiversity around me. As we know Peacocks are indigenous to Malibu Towne. Since we moved to this place, I have been lucky enough to see these birds daily from my Balcony. Sometimes on the trees, on the balconies or the rooftops. I spot them in different poses. I have been clicking these Beautiful Birds over the years and have a vast gallery of their Photographs and videos.Malibu Towne is a Bird Sanctuary in itself. During the lock down, I witnessed more of the other birds from my balcony.
I have spotted and clicked birds like the White-throated Kingfisher, Rofous Tree pie,
Coucal, Brown-headed Barbet, Yellow-legged Pigeons, Owls etc.
Now how do I know that a new bird has landed nearby? Well whenever there is a new visitor in the vicinity, the common birds like the Blabbers gather on the nearby trees and start chirping continuously! Hearing the shrilling bird sounds I run to my balcony and find some or the other just arrived visitor on the tree.Besides Bird watching, I like to see the Sunrise and Sunset from my balcony, as it looks so mesmerizing amidst the Malibu greenery.During the Winter season, I like to deck up my balcony with the winter blooms through the Peacocks and the Peahens feast upon the Petunias from my balcony.During the Monsoon season when rains wash off the tree leaves the view frommy Balcony is beautiful. Also, the peacocks add to the beauty in the rains – taking refuge in a quiet balcony or the tree tops.
