A Treat for AoH Fitness Freaks!

After 9 long years of waiting, the current highly efficient AoA committee, along with an experienced team of volunteers has treated us to a brand spanking new gymming & sporting experience. They have been tirelessly working towards providing us perfectly refurbished health & sport facilities at the highest level.

For the past few months, we’ve witnessed skilled workers revamping the Yoga room, Table Tennis room, Badminton court, Cricket pitch, Lawn Tennis courts, Squash court & Gymnasium. The Gym has been renewed with a very visible makeover –

1. The grey & black flooring is now very durable.
2. More mirrors have been installed, giving a sense of more space.
3. Arrangement of all the equipment is more efficient, especially the weights rack.
4. Modern technology treadmills & a host of other latest equipment
5. It is now free for all residents, making it more accessible.
6. The well thought through rules ensure the gym stays clean & all users treat it like their own, ensuring they keep it clean & orderly.

   Similarly, the lawn tennis court refurbishment included laying a fibre mesh & coating it with 7 layers of primer, resurfacer, cushioning & paint. All these specifications ensure players’ knees are protected & we get an excellent playing experience!
   The heights of the lights have been increased. They’ve installed new nets & poles and widened the drains to prevent water logging. It’s truly a fabulous experience playing on this now! Let us hear from some of our tennis pros –
