Raviesha Agarwal (3111) recently gave her first TEDx Talk! We had an opportunity to speak with her about her experience.
Coming from Jaipur, Raviesha began to chart her path at a young age. She started working at the age of 15 for a local TV channel as a program anchor. At 17, she joined a school as a teacher and eventually led as an Academic Director.
Raviesha took up entrepreneurship at 25 with her venture Zeeshaan Enterprises. Since then, her journey has ranged from manufacturing and export to diamond jewellery. She soon started getting recognition from media houses.
Passionate about communicating with intent, Raviesha felt a need to empower people around her. This led to her becoming an ICF – Certified Life Coach, an NLP Master Practitioner, and a public speaking mentor.
Raviesha coaches people for transformation, growth mindset and powerful presence. “Communicating confidently gives the confidence that ‘Yes, I can put myself out there and achieve much.’”
Raviesha was referred for a TEDx Talk by someone who had followed her public speaking journey. This took place on Saturday, 5 August at Khaitan Public School. Her topic – taking charge of your life. She spoke about the things we must do to feel that our life is not on an autopilot.
Raviesha’s Talk also debunked the myth that taking charge means controlling your life. She dwelt on the aspects she is passionate about – growth mindset, peak performance conflict management, communicating with confidence – coupled with storytelling using anecdotes from her life.
Raviesha’s TEDx Talk evoked chuckles, interactions, and fun moments! “I tried to put a serious moment of my life in a funny way. I was sceptical but it turned out to be funny!” And that is the power of words!
Team Samvada wishes Raviesha the very best!
