The residents of Windsor Court came together to provide some cool relief to all Windsor staff (housekeeping, maintenance, security, horticulture, etc.) during the scorching summer months.
Residents donated generously to set up a fund to purchase and distribute cold beverages and drinks to the staff, two times a day/night as per their work shifts.
An assortment of drinks is purchased each week consisting of Frooti, Jaljeera, Rooafzha, Nimbu pani, and many more. These are then kept cool in the office pantry and distributed at two pre-allotted times during each twelve-hour shift to all staff present. Personnel are encouraged to come and collect the drinks from the office in case they are not present at the time of distribution. This is a small token of appreciation and gratitude from residents for our staff who work hard throughout the year to make us feel safe and comfortable.
In addition, during the dry months, water is placed for birds in earthen vessels at different points. At Windsor, all residents try their best to make our community beautiful and happy for all.
