The vibrant hues of Holi painted a merry picture in sector-75 as the residents came together to celebrate the festival with unparalleled zeal. From young children to the elderly, everyone partook in the festivities arranged at Apex Athena by the Athena Cultural Committee. The committee had arranged a delightful array of activities, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. On March 22, a Holi Carnival was arranged which had competitions like face painting, golgappa eating amongst many others. Under the starlit sky, on March 24th, Apex Athena society embraced the sacred tradition of Holi Dahan with reverence and fervor. At the auspicious hour of 11:15 p.m., amidst the tranquil setting, a soulful pooja ceremony marked the commencement of this cherished occasion, drawing all the residents enthusiastically. As the flames danced with ancient wisdom, the sweetness of gujias arranged by the Athena Cultural Committee added an extra layer of joy to the festivities. On Holi, 25, the highlight of the day was the rain dance along with a DJ, where joy knew no bounds as residents danced to lively beats amidst a refreshing cascade of water while splashing colors. A sumptuous breakfast spread greeted the residents, offering a kick start to the festivities. From traditional dishes like dahi bhalla to savoury snacks, there was an abundance of culinary delights to indulge in. Following the hearty breakfast, the celebrations continued with fervour as residents engaged in DJ and laughter-filled conversations. The spirit of Holi brought everyone together in a harmonious blend of joy and celebration. Lunchtime saw the community coming together once again, sharing laughter, stories, and delicious food. The aroma of mouth-watering delicacies wafted through the air. From traditional dishes to modern favorites, there was something to tantalize every taste bud. Phoolon ki holi was also organised at Apex Athena Mandir on 23rd March where the residents sang melodies and played with flowers with high fervor. However, beyond the colorful festivities and delicious food, what truly made the Holi celebrations special was the sense of belonging and unity that permeated the air. In a world often fraught with divisions, Holi served as a beautiful reminder of the bonds that unite us as a community.
