This time it is about the esteemed and quietly accomplished soul residing among the hustle and bustle of Princeton for the last 20 years. It is an honour to introduce this meritorious and highly senior officer. Her name is Chhanda Majumdar Sahijwani.
With more than 25 years of dedicated service to the Nation, she started her career quite young and continues to work in a department that counters terrorism & anti-nationals. She has been awarded numerous medals (including that from the Honourable President of India) for her bravery and exceptional service while working for the Government of India. Leading various national security operations, she continues to serve our nation diligently.
Coming from a highly educated family of scientists, administrators and freedom fighters, Chhanda is a potent combination of grace, determination and grit. A proud wife and a devoted mother of two, Chhanda has been winning hearts in her personal life as well. Not only was she a star student and all-rounder, but she has also been a key contributor to many social initiatives.
When she is not tracking terrorists at work, you may very well find her In the local coffee shop, engrossed in a book. A voracious reader. But outside her work, she is mostly busy being the backbone of her family, in addition to being a talented singer. Her presence in our community imparts a unique and admirable dimension.
