The BOM has been putting in efforts on multiple fronts to better things at AOH.
Security Agency Change – SIS is the new security agency from 1 September.
BOM and committee members worked on a detailed plan which is being implemented for a smooth transition. Like any transition, there are initial hiccups; residents are requested to highlight issues through NBH or email.
The agency change is the first step. It will be followed by relevant changes in security processes, deployment, rotation and technology to ensure AOH remains a safe & secure place. Geotags are already being deployed for efficient security and monitoring.
Horticulture – The Horticulture Committee is working on equipment, manpower and processes to improve our green spaces. The horticulture team’s skills are being refined and their tools are being upgraded.
Our inhouse nursery provided 1000+ plants that amply provided for our hedge restoration needs. This is a big step towards having sustainable and cost-effective practices.
Building Repairs and Painting – Currently, painting and repair work are underway in T3 and T8. An additional applicator team has been arranged (T4 and T5) to expedite the work while another is scheduled to begin in a few weeks (on T12/ T14).
Critical areas/ pillars in T14 basement are being worked on. Overhang repairs are completed in T7/ T8 and are in progress in T9/ T10/ T14.
