A sector resident wishes to share her experience – Took my daughter for some dental fillings. Thankfully the doc I took her to is very genuine. She practices at a clinic of a senior doc. Today was the 2nd sitting. Both the times my dentist told me your daughter doesn’t need any orthodontal treatment. While I was paying at the reception, I overheard the senior doctor telling her without having examined my daughter “Please advice ortho- treatment to her.” I heard him and moved back at an angle to see his face. He was zapped. I still wasn’t sure if I had heard him correctly. I went up to the paediatric surgeon to confirm that the comment was meant for my daughter. She smiled and winked and told me “please call me later.” There is goodness and a very ugly side of the medical profession. We all are struggling. I have heard so many traumatic stories. This rang an alarm bell. Grateful I left unscathed.
