The smooth and successful landing of Chandrayaan 3 was a Herculean task. Every Indian was waiting for it with bated breath. A big salute to all the scientists who worked day and night to mark this remarkable win.
The cherry on top of this cake was knowing about a fellow Espacian, Khagesh Bhardwaj (Tower 32 – 1603), who was participating in this mission since the conception of Chandrayaan 3 and has been a part of this whole journey.
Khagesh did his IIT coaching at Super 300 Kanpur. After clearing his IIT JEE in 2015, he joined the Indian Institute of Space and Technology). Later, he joined a four years’ programme in ISRO for Aerospace Engineering. In 2019, he joined ISRO as a Scientist Engineer.
When he was in Espacia, we organised a chit chat session with him for children as well as for adults who wanted to have a conversation with him. He answered every kid’s query patiently and clicked pictures with them happily.
We would like to share a few soundbites from our Espacians.
