A Blooming Beginning: First Tulip Garden Inaugurated in Our Colony

Today marked a special day for our colony as we witnessed the inauguration of our first-ever Tulip Garden by our councillor Anita Basoya ji and Sandeep Basoya ji!

The vibrant hues of red, yellow, white, pink, and purple tulips have transformed our round-about park into a picturesque sight, bringing joy to residents of all ages.

To celebrate this wonderful addition, a drawing competition was also organized by Saguna Puri(Vice President, DCWA Club) for children, who participated with great enthusiasm. Their creativity was on full display as they painted colorful tulips, and gardens. The event was filled with excitement, laughter, and appreciation for art and nature.

Residents gathered to admire both the beautiful flowers and the talented young artists. This initiative not only added charm to our surroundings but also encouraged children to express their creativity. The day ended with prizes (beautiful plants) for the best drawings by Anita ji and a collective sense of pride in making our colony greener and more beautiful.

The event was graced by many dignitaries from our colony, including Major Ranjit Singh, our very own environmentalist Shami Talwar, Ak Bajaj, Sahdev, Sudhir Sharma, Anuj Bakshi, Indu Anand, Viji Vasudev, Rooprekha Kukreja, Promod Gupta and Chinky. They appreciated the efforts behind this green initiative and spoke about the importance of creating and preserving such beautiful spaces.

This tulip garden is more than just a visual delight—it symbolizes community spirit and the joy of coming together for a common cause. Here’s to many more such initiatives that bring color and happiness to our lives!

Gratitude to Sandeep Bhaiya and Anita ji for turning an ordinary park into a breathtaking floral paradise!
