Dussehra also known as Vijaydashmi is celebrated each year with great enthusiasm. In DLF Phase1 different RWAs organize Dussehra celebrations. Like every year this year also Dussehra celebrations were organized by ABEMHC & PRWS jointly.
It was great to see the entire community come together at one place to celebrate. A few residents made small Effigies with kids being involved and brought to the festival. We first lit those Effigies. Smiles and excitement on each kid’s face was worth watching. They were super excited and got to light up their own prepared Effigy. Besides Effigies there were also some green crackers for everyone to enjoy.
Residents from the nearby Chakkarpur village and kids also joined the evening. These celebrations have major significance on society as they bring residents together and reinforce love, unity and harmony in society.
