Like for the last several years A Block Extn. celebrated Holi this time too in its Central Park on 8 March. Around 120 residents attended the festivities.
This time perhaps for the first-time emphasis was given to the involvement of children giving them the opportunity of letting them loose for ‘hungama’. A plastic tub filled with coloured water was put in wherein some 20-25 children had a full blast with ‘pichkaries’ and whatnot. ‘Chaat’, snacks, ‘thandai’, … were served to everyone’s delight. One and all enjoyed and danced on filmy peppy numbers soaked in the full spirit of Holi.
