Karwachauth festival is celebrated with full enthusiasm all over. Here at Gk2 it was organized by Traders Welfare Association GK2 in association with Ladies Club NCR on 11th and 12th October`22.The TWA President Mr Vikram Bhasin and the other core members, few to name Mr. Ranjit Bhasin Mr Deepak Chopra and Mr.Ashish Monga, have been very supportive and together with the Ladies Club they have put up a mega two day event this year too.Karwa Chauth is an occasion which has inspired women for years .We have been organizing this festival with full enthusiasm every year. It was marked with beautiful stall setups, including those for Home Decor, Diwali gift items, bandhanwars clothes, accessories, sweets, bangles, sargi items,nail art,make up, mehandi, toys, clutches and much more. The main attraction of the event was Games for the children of the neighborhood.
Many Singers were also roped in to sing songs to create a joyful and festive environment. Montu Mast Punjabi was one of the centers of attraction at the event.Ladies Club organized the mehndi artist from Mumbai which added glory to the festival. Almost 50 brands participated and came in at the fair from different parts of Delhi NCR. The whole area was well lit with fairy lights. A beautiful ambience was created for 2 days to celebrate the festival. This festival has major religious significance for people. We ensured enough enjoyment for kids while mothers were getting mehndi put on their hands. There were enough rides including Merry go round, Columbus, Bouncy, Trampoline and much more. A man dressed as a joker who was getting a lot of attention from kids who ran to get pictures clicked with him.
To avoid waiting time we had enough artists for mehndi and nail art and of course, a lot of food stalls with different cuisines like sweets, candy, chaat on both days of the fair to fight the hunger pangs. We had visitors coming from far and wide to enjoy the festive celebrations.
The team which worked hard to put up the show was led by Mr Vikram and Mr Ranjit Bhasin , Mr Anil Chopra and many more names from TWA, while Bhavna, Disha, Vedika took the lead from the Ladies Club. The two day festival was really appreciated by one and all.
Among our elite guests were Mrs Baijal and Mr Baijal ( former LG), MLA Mr Saurabh Bhardwaj, Mrs Shikha Rai, and the Area SHO Mr Ritesh Kumar. They visited the entire exhibition stalls for shopping and interacted with people who also shared their feedback with them. Ladies Club and TWA are thankful to one and all for making this event a grand success.
We received several accolades from the visitors to our fair. We will continue with our efforts and hardwork every year to make it a grand celebration enjoyed by all.
