On October 31, Mahagun Mezzaria had a spooky environment and cute little scary monsters, ghosts, witches and vampires were seen all over. Aha after all its Halloween – trick or treat!
Halloween is celebrated all over the world with full enthusiasm. It is said to be the day of transition of weather, harvest season for some and in some cases “the day of the dead”.
All those who celebrate Halloween dress up in costumes, mask or make up to look scary or like a character you like. Kids visit homes saying trick or treat and in return receive sweets candies or gifts from the house owners.
Mahagun Mezzaria kids and mommies came out collectively to celebrate Halloween and went home to home across towers shouting trick or treat. All the residents volunteered to shower love and candies to little ones who were led by mommies and older kids.
It was indeed a treat to watch all the kids dressed in amazing costumes and make up. Indeed, it was very spooky.
Some mommies too dressed up and decorated their homes to create the visual effect and each kid went back home with bag full of loot which had sweets, juices, biscuits and chocolates.
It was heartening to see that all age group came together and the whole celebration was meticulously planned by mapping kids to the respective homes who had offered to be a part of the celebration. Small kids looked cute dressed as princess, spiderman, pumpkin while the older ones were truly spooky and had innovative head gears, make up and ideas. The lesson we learn from community celebration is “ Together we can and together we shall keep the spirits high “
