Def Col Facing Acute Mobile Radiation Issues Network Problems!

Today is the age of wireless communication, which gifted us with cell phones. Mobile phones are the modern era’s innovation and a popular mode of communication, financial dealings, business meetings, and data keeping. Since the onset of mobile phones in the 1980s, the total number of mobile phone subscribers and installed base signal towers have increased significantly. A review of the impact of mobile phone and signal tower radiation on human health and the environment has been presented by many researchers from all across the world who have identified the related issues:

The major concerns about the exposure of people, flora, and fauna to radio frequencies are not new. The use of cellular phones is threatened by claims that the radiation emitted by the devices has unfavourable impacts on human health. The effects of radiation may be classified into non-thermal and thermal. Thermal effects are similar to those of cooking in a microwave oven. The non-thermal effects are not properly defined, but it has been learnt that these effects are three to four times more hazardous than the thermal, which remains controversial.

Why Def Col is affected and how to resolve these health-related issues:

The number of mobile towers increased from 2005-2015 as there were many telecom companies in the industry, but with time only 3-4 major service providers were left in the fray, but the number of mobile users increased manifold due to increased usage by all for business, personal, and educational needs. Due to various studies and reports, many towers were removed, and the mobile network issues started in our colony for normal calls as well as data usage. Most of us shifted back to landlines and wired mobile lines for data use for computers, TVs, etc. The main issue is connectivity, as the callers generally get the user busy, mobile off, etc., which results in panic among the users, especially for seniors, parents, and work-from-home professionals.

We tried movable mobile towers also, but due to health hazards, these mobile towers keep shifting and result in more network issues as well as lots of discussion on social media about the placement of these towers. Lastly, we would like to suggest to the RWAs to coordinate with the concerned telecom authorities to professionally plan the placement of these towers in the open area to ensure mobile is used inside the house at all times without creating any health hazards to the residents to have a WIN: WIN situation in the future.
