Room on the Broom

The title of a picture book by Julia Donaldson came to my mind when while looking for somebody to clean the gazebo at Meghdutam Park, we came across Sabir Khan who was using dry leaves branch as a broom. I was so mighty impressed by his presence of mind, by the ‘jugaad’ and by the innate sustainability that comes with it, that I instantly started all kinds of questions which made him a little nervous, finally asked him to pose with his magical broomstick. If you guys come across such people, pause and take a moment to appreciate and ponder over “what an idea sir jee”!
