Recently launched her book She Storms
Anisha Motwani is a multi-faceted business strategist and the Managing Director of StN Ventures. She is also the author of a national bestselling book; Storm the Norm – a first-of-its-kind collection of contemporary stories of truly inspiring businesses and brands from India that either wrote or rewrote the norms of their respective industries. She is an avid blogger; a podcaster & regularly authors articles in leading business publications on an array of subjects.
She serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several organisations Abbot India, Raymond Lifestyle, Godrej Finance, Philips Domestic Appliances, Motherson Sumi Wiring Solutions and advisor with the World Bank, among others.
When she is not writing or recording on her favourite topics, Anisha spends most of her time travelling the world, volunteering and catching her favourite OTT shows.
In recognition of her achievements, she was voted one of the ’50 Most Powerful Women in Indian Business’ by Business Today for three consecutive years. She has also been recognized amongst the ‘Top 50 Women in Media, Marketing and Advertising’ by Impact & Colours for 4 consecutive years. She has been conferred ‘The Women at Work Leadership Award’ by the Asian Confederation of Business and ‘The Brand Builder of the Year award by NDTV amongst many others.
An MBA, Anisha studied at Sophiya College and lives in Gurgaon with her husband Mahinder and children – Prerna & and Prithviraj.
On asking about her life in Nirvana she says “I moved to Nirvana approx. 2.5 years ago and love everything about it.. starting from my beautiful park-facing home, waking up every morning to catch the first glimpse of sunrise, my most amazing neighbours and the ready support system that seems more like an extended family.”
Her book ‘She Storms the Norm’ is a sequel to my first book ‘STORM THE NORM’; a national bestseller showcasing 20 businesses that stormed the norms of their respective industries. The book was published by Rupa Publications and continues to do well in its 8th print edition. This time, it is about women who have stormed the norms and challenged several gender-related stereotypes & created fresh, vibrant norms.
