On January 12, 2025, Mata Ki Chowki Sewa Mandal NFC organised a Sundarkand Path at Mata Ka Mandir, New Friends Colony, New Delhi. The event, led by Kamal Kapoor, Dr. M.L. Sachdeva, and Shyam Verma, commenced at 10 am and concluded at 1.30 pm, followed by a Preeti Bhoj (communal lunch).
The Sundarkand Path, a revered chapter from the Ramayana, narrates Lord Hanuman’s journey to Lanka in search of Mata Sita. It is believed that reciting this scripture brings peace, removes obstacles, and promotes well-being.
The temple was filled with devotees who immersed themselves in the recitation, creating an atmosphere of deep spirituality and devotion. The harmonious chanting strengthened the sense of unity and faith among all present.
Following the Path, devotees shared the Preeti Bhoj, fostering warmth and togetherness within the community. The organisers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees, emphasising the importance of such spiritual gatherings in nurturing faith and communal harmony.
The event was widely appreciated, with many participants finding solace and inspiration in the collective recitation and shared meal.
