The Mandir in our Sector has always been a symbol of serenity and piousness. It is always a celebration of God’s love and compassion at Sanatan Dharm Mandir.
Ever since our Mandir has been constructed – which was quite sometime back, it has offered some of the best and most wonderful events to the community. The Ganesha Chaturthi, the divine Janmashtami festivities, the Navratra celebration and Lohri are just some of the very few to mention.
The Mandir hosted the most divine wedding of the year – the Tulsi Vivah. The wedding ceremony of the holy basil plant to Shaligram was performed. The devotees got the opportunity to participate in the bridegroom baraat or perform Kanyadaan giving away the bride which is considered greatest offering to God.
The idols in the Mandir were dressed in beautiful coloured attire and the decorations for the occasion were mesmerizing. “We are fortunate to pass on part of our rich culture and tradition to our next generation by following all these rituals”, says a resident.
