The road that leads to the Kanhai side main road from the Gold Souq area is a back-breaking exercise as it is in a deteriorating condition due to extensive use of vehicles, besides the sewer line excavation is a menace to use. Many complaints were registered with the RWA, to which their response came soon that the repairs for the road are already approved by the authorities, and the process will start immediately after the DPR, etc. are completed. The SLRWA committee members were in talks with the authorities and the MLA of the area and soon the work will get commenced.
President of SLRWA Mr. Deepak Verma informed that there is an order from the High Court about road cleaning and dumping of garbage in Gurugram. The court has appointed a committee of fifteen advocates to verify and submit the report from MCG. The President also asked the residents to submit a visual proof of the garbage littered area to be visited by the committee when they come to visit Sushant Lok.
On 2 January, the committee had come for colony inspection at 9:30. She was taken on a tour by the President, Jagat Diwan, B.N. Gupta, Balu Singh and Arun. All the problem areas were visited and the condition of the garbage dumps was shown. Now after the submission of their report, the measures will be taken and the residents of Sushant Lok will hopefully find the problem eradicated from the surroundings. Kudos to their effort!
