Local NGO Paw Compass Foundation looks after the area’s stray dogs
In the quiet lanes of Nanak Pura, Moti Bagh, and Shanti Niketan, a silent revolution of kindness is unfolding. Paw Compass Foundation, a local NGO, has been tirelessly working to care for the area’s stray dogs. Every day, the team feeds over 250 dogs, ensuring they have full bellies and wagging tails.
Recently, Paw Compass achieved a significant milestone by sterilizing 11 dogs. Sterilization not only improves the health of the animals but also helps control overpopulation, creating a safer and more harmonious environment for everyone.
Looking ahead, the foundation has set a goal to sterilize 50 dogs in the next two months. Each procedure costs Rs. 1,200 and includes everything from transportation and surgery to post-operative care. To make this possible, they aim to raise Rs. 60,000.
