On the occasion of Sahib-E-Kamal Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Nagar Kirtan was organised. It started from Gurudwara, Sector 12, passed through Gurudwara Sector 25 and passed through Sectors 26 and 27 and concluded at Gurudwara Sector 18. Gurudwara Sector 18 enjoys one of the highest statuses of worship and seeking blessings of Guru Maharaj.
HK Dua and MS Dhami made their best efforts with the active support of residents of Sector 26 to welcome Nagar Kirtan when it reached Sector 26. Senior citizens of the sector welcomed Panj Payaras and sought their blessings. Nagar Kirtan was followed by singing devotional songs. Panj Payaras gave blessings to HK Dua and many more. An important part of Nagar Kirtan left an example of cleanliness as many devotees cleaned the road without the feeling of the dignity of labour. Service to society is an important fundamental of Sikhism.
