The Kalypso Christmas Carnival, organized by the Kalypso Ladies Club, was a celebration of the festive season. Held at the KT1, 2, & 3 lawns, the event brought the community together for a day of joy, entertainment, and camaraderie.
The carnival offered something for everyone with its array of games, vibrant stalls, and delicious festive treats. Families revelled in the atmosphere, enjoying activities and savouring delightful dishes from the food stalls.
The festivities began with a melodious performance by The Nightingales of Kalypso, which set a jubilant tone for the day.
A standout moment was the fashion show, where parents and children walked the runway in their holiday best, showcasing creativity. This event captivated the audience and added a glamourous touch to the celebration.
The talent hunt elevated the excitement, as children mesmerized the crowd with their singing, dancing, and other impressive skills. The stage came alive with their enthusiasm, leaving attendees entertained.
No Christmas carnival is complete without Santa Claus; the Kalypso Carnival delighted everyone with Santa’s presence. His demeanour, thrilling buggy rides, and kid-friendly attractions added to the magic of the day.
This event embodied the Christmas spirit —joy, togetherness, and celebration. The Kalypso Ladies Club has set a standard for festive events, leaving the community eagerly awaiting their next initiative.
