The Greater Kailash Residents Association (GKRA), under the leadership of Kamal Kapoor, president, and Sanjay Anand, general secretary, celebrated International Seniors Day on November 11 at Samavar Banquets, Pamposh Colony. Super Senior citizens (above 85 yrs) of various blocks of Greater Kailash-1 were facilitated. Senior citizens, both men and women, in large numbers attended the event and had fun dancing, listening to music, and having a buffet dinner. Rita Verma of C Block entertained the participants with melodious songs. The function was graced by the presence of Saurab Bhardwaj, minister, Delhi Govt., and Sikha Roy, municipal councillor. Twenty one couples belonging to the senior citizen category participated in the function.
The following three super senior residents of C Block above the age of 90 were honored on the occasion with shawls: 1. S.C.Garg (94 yrs) 2. A.P.Nagpal (90 yrs) 3. K.L.Nagpal (90 yrs).
