With the new ECORWA team firmly in place, it is time to plan and make programs for the New Year. At the Supertech Emerald Court, all the activities are structured. Various committees are responsible for the activities entrusted to them.
While the committees for Campus Maintenance, Security, Parking, Horticulture, House Keeping and Electrical and Utilities take care of the core activities, the Finance, Legal, Fire and Safety committees take care of the statuary requirements. The Sports, Gym and Cultural activities are handled by the respective committees.
As of now, the residents and staff are getting trained in how to give Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in collaboration with a multi-specialty hospital.
As the residents prepare their New Year resolutions and make plans on how to enjoy their Christmas holidays, the months of November and December being the lean months for all activities, are most ideal for repairing, renewing and replacing Equipment and Systems so that there is flawless performance during the peak winters and summers.
During this time, all the DGs, the switch yards, and the electrical systems are thoroughly serviced; and everything is brought back to optimum levels of performance. This is a very important exercise in a residential society, as everything must work 24/7 throughout the year.
This is also the time to plan the cultural activities for the whole year, and especially the New Year and the Sankranti in the coming month.
As the winter sets in, it’s time to enjoy the Sun along with lots of gajjak, revdi and moongfali. It is a common sight at our sprawling Central Park to see the residents having a picnic or potluck on a sunny day.
So goes the life at the Emerald Court.
