Imagine a world without without the Sun, the wind, the water, the plants! You can’t right. Mother nature gives us life and the means to sustain it. And no amount of gratitude can be enough for it. Festivals come here to guide us and remind us that while we may not may not be there, the Sun and the moon will and it is with this humility and thankfulness we pray to the divine nature.
The festival of Chatt and Tulsi Vivah falling in the month of Kartik celebrates the grace of divinity on us and the residents of Apex Athena continue to carry on the tradition with love and devotion. Dips in the community pool in reverence of the Sun lord, offerings of sweet thekua and refreshing sugarcane along with thereupatic folk music was a blissful experience. The prabhat pheri my the mandir committee ending with the Tulsi Vivah was no less than a family like event where the residents woke up before the sun to welcome and celebrate the lord’s union. The deeply spiritual Hindu month ended with a reawakened spiritual energy and enthusiasm among everyone.
