In continuation of our series to introduce you to the people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make our stay easier and convenient in Malibu, this month, we bring to our readers one of our most reliable staff members, Sumit Kumar.
This soft-spoken young man has been working with Malibu Maintenance Office for the last three years, having joined us as the Administrative Executive in June 2021.
He was a very helpful presence during our transition from a builder colony to an MCG colony in 2022. A resident of Revari, where he lives with his wife and a seven-year-old son, he undertakes a long commute everyday to take his spot in the office and deliver on his responsibilities that include looking into the billing, security app, maintenance issues and many more. Having worked with a Unitech society before, Sumit considers himself lucky to have found a supportive and cooperative workplace and team.
Fond of reading books, this science graduate is a Chetan Bhagat fan and has read all his books. In his free time, he likes listening to soft music and traveling to the hills.
While overall Sumit is grateful for the cooperative attitude of the residents, sometimes he is at the receiving end of rude behavior too which he takes in his stride with a gentle smile.
We take this opportunity to urge our Malibu family to treat those who work for us above and beyond their mandate, with kindness for it fosters an environment that is conducive to a happy state of mind, and hence, a better performance.
