Karwa Chauth is a significant festival celebrated across India by married women. It symbolizes love, commitment and devotion in marital relationships. It involves a day-long fast where women pray for the long life and prosperity of their husbands. This year, Karwa Chauth was celebrated on Sunday, 20 October, i.e., on the fourth day of the Krishna Paksha (waning moon) in the month of Kartik. The beautiful ladies of Lotus Boulevard celebrated it at the Central Lawn. The ladies observed a fast and prayed for the long life and wellbeing of their husbands, making Karwa Chauth an emotional bond of love and togetherness. The puja included offerings to Goddess Parvati, Lord Shiva, and Lord Ganesha. Here are a few glimpses of the Karwa Chauth celebration in Boulevard.
