When Walls Crack, Does Humanity Too?

At the Samvada office, we received a call from D.P. Aggarwal (C-37), lamenting an incident with his neighbor’s house under construction. Falling debris damaged his wall, AC, and fridge, and despite police intervention, no neighbors offered help. “In kothis, there’s no unity,” he observed, contrasting it with the togetherness in flats. Except for two kind neighbors (Mr. Singhal’s sone & Daughter-in-law), the apathy left him wondering, “Is humanity fading in our modern society?”
