Residents in B-Block keep complaining about “ No water supply or hardly any supply”, in a few houses. Wonder, why the huge exercise of replacing the wa-ter pipe by a thick one from Holiday Club to B-Block couldn’t solve their problem. They keep calling and requesting for water tankers and sometimes even have to pay a heavy amount for water tankers. Moreover tanker suppliers keep their own interest intact. Lucky are the houses in D- Block, who don’t face much of these problems because of ample supply from borewell in D- block, PERA is also trying for getting the land at dhallao converted into UGR land, so that enough water can be stored there for meeting the needs of all the residents, as the need for water has increased manifold. The rampant construction of multistoreyed houses are putting a lot of pressure on the water demands and also electricity. Meanwhile the residents should store water in big tanks for days when there is no water supply. They should also save water and reuse water flowing out from RO.
Some houses have water overflowing from overhead tanks thereby wasting a lot of water, besides creating a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Algae has started growing behind house no. B-38 and on the badminton place by C- Block Borewell leaking.
D- 34 also is ignorant about overflowing water. We request everyone to pay extra attention to save water and to waste any form of water.
