Anandadhara celebrated its fourth Durga Puja from 8-13 October with pomp and show. Kudos to the team for conducting the Puja in a beautiful way! The celebration started on Panchami with a food festival called ‘Anandamela’ where women residents set up stalls to sell their home cooked food at subsidized rates, We tasted many dishes – really tasty, oozing with warmth and culinary excellence. No better way to ring in the festivities!
Every department of the Puja celebration showed class, excellence, and dedicated untiring efforts. The award Anand-adhara received from the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal was an added feather to its cap.
The celebration was organised with spirit and positive energy starting from the gorgeous Maa Durga Pratima, lovely Mandap, charming ambiance, Maa’s Bhog every day, various competitions, Dhunuchi Naach, Maa ki Aarti and most importantly ‘Natok’ – hilarious and excellent! Most of the characters were senior citizens and first timers!
Dandiya Night on Ashtami was a grand one. Everyone danced in this exuberant and mesmerizing event enjoying Dandiya and other dances. There was fun and enjoyment with footfall of people of all age groups.
Fashion show on Navami night was worth watching. Our lovely lady residents took part in the show as models and dazzled on the ramp. The cultural show culminated with a musical night; all danced to Bollywood numbers.
I thank Anandadhara for a show of perfection, togetherness, belon-gingness and real festive colours. It is only the beginning; Anan-dadhara will reach bigger heights in the coming years. Best wishes for the future!
Lastly, thanks to the residents for visiting the Anandadhara Puja and making it a grand success. Without your support, it would have been impossible to carry out this Puja Carnival at such a scale!
