The festive spirit of Dusshera led to an exciting excursion for the children.Due to logistical constraints, some children traveled in a car while others rode in an e-rickshaw. However, on the return journey, the e-rickshaw driver accelerated, momentarily losing contact with the guradians’ car, which was particularly concerning since the children weren’t carrying phones. Fortunately, Vineet Kumar, a bright young boy, sprang into action, utilizing the emergency contact number he had memorized to promptly inform his teacher of their location from e-rickshaw driver’s mobile phone. Vineet’s quick thinking helped in reuniting with teachers, ensuring the group’s safety. This incident underscored the importance of emergency preparedness and quick thinking, reaffirming Unnati’s emphasis on memorizing contact numbers as a valuable safety measure. Despite the brief challenge, the students thoroughly enjoyed the festive atmosphere, making this Dussehra celebration truly unforgettable. The trip, the rides and the snacks during the excursion was sponsored by Premlata Gupta from Kolkata.
