In H block DLF 1, people have always celebrated Dussehra with great fervor. However, after a few years, it was honoured this year. Contributions were made by few residents to make the celebration entertaining and pleasurable. By carrying the Ravana effigy, meticulously positioning it, and finally burning it, they participated in and carried out the Dussehra rite, indicating the significance of this festival of good triumphing over evil. For the citizens’ safety, HBRC had the area blocked off and provided total security throughout the event. To oversee the ceremony and ensure that nothing went wrong, ten to twelve police officers from the station were also there. Sunil Kohli spent two days setting up in an effort to make the Dussehra event unforgettable.
