Princeton had the privilege of the visit of health care officers from an Paras Hospital on 20th October from 10 am to 12 pm in front of the DG ramp area. The residents were informed of the visit through e-mails. Random blood sugar was checked and senior citizens were given a free glucometer kit which contained blood glucose meter, 10 lancets, a durable plastic case, a user manual, a lancing device and a battery to measure the glucose in the blood at the convenience of the residents at home.
This further helped to spread the awareness to have knowledge of diabetes so that the public could find ways to bring the blood sugar under control. About 200 residents visited the camp. More residents were expected to visit the camp but it seems that the reason for low attendance could have been that the camp was organised on the day of karwa Chouth.
