Festivities At Exclusive Floors

The month of October 2024 saw a vibrant procession of festivals, each arriving one after the other. The buildup of excitement and fervour in the celebrations reached a peak of happiness and contentment in our lives. We looked forward to the newness in every aspect—new clothes, household utilities, freshly painted homes, and prayers made for our well-being throughout.

Our DLF Club Drive Road was adorned with decorations, exhibitions, and melas. At Exclusive Floors, we started the festivities with Navratri, celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion. The ladies of our bhajan mandli, along with the office management, created a magical atmosphere for the nine days. It began with Kalash Sthapana on October 3 in our D6 Park, where a beautiful Mata ka Darbar was set up. Each day, kirtan was performed between 5 to 7 pm, followed by aarti, prasad distribution, and dandiya. On the ninth day, a Mata ka Bhandara was organized and many people gathered to seek Mata Rani’s blessings as well as prasad.

Next, we had Mehndi artists coming in to apply henna a day before Karva Chauth. On the day of the fast, our central park was set up with dhurries, and the Katha was played on the music system for all to hear. The ladies looked their festive best in beautiful attire. After Karva Chauth came the Diwali Mela on October 25 in our society. A delightful mix of food stalls rides for children, and a shopping spree made it an unforgettable experience.

It was truly divine, and residents enjoyed every moment together as one big family. The joyous gatherings, the shared laughter, and the festive spirit all reminded us of how deeply festivals are woven into the fabric of our lives. Each celebration, whether big or small, brought us closer to each other, rekindling old bonds and creating new ones. In a world where we are often so busy, festivals provide a chance to pause, connect, and reflect on the importance of community and togetherness.

As the lights from Diwali linger in our memories, we carry forward the joy, hope, and blessings these festivals have brought. This October taught us not only the importance of celebrating traditions but also the value of unity, love, and shared happiness. Here’s to many more months of togetherness and cherished memories, with the promise that each festival will continue to bring us closer as a community.
