Pearl Court in Essel Towers, celebrated the traditional Dandia night on 6th October. The PC FORUM organized the function with the help of young ladies residents led by Ruchi Mitroo, Anukriti, and Kritika who choreographed the various dance performances by kids, young children, and ladies.
The evening began with Ma Durga puja and aarti performed collectively by the residents. The event then started with the dandiya dance performance by a group of kids who danced to the tune of Garba, beautifully trained by Anukriti and Kritika. The older children too danced beautifully to current numbers. The gorgeous ladies of Pearl Court gave the third and outstanding dance performance, enumerating the story behind this festival. The story was beautifully put together by Ruchi Mitroo. All the residents then came together to dance on the open floor thereafter.
Sumptuous food with delicious live counters of Chaat, Aloo Tikki, Chhole Bhature, Pao Bhaji, noodles, etc was served which was enjoyed by all. The event was well attended by more than 150 residents of Pearl Court.
A special mention for Preety Tuteja who provided able support to Ruchi in training and practice of the above dance performances. PC Forum President Dr. Brij Gupta gave away the prizes to the winners of the best performance, best-dressed girl, best-dressed lady, sponsored by PC Forum.
